Not very flexible

Hi, guys!
Just imagine: i connect my iphone to head unit and put it into the gloves box.
But when i call navigator application i have to confirm connection with an iphone, for this purposes i have to take it off back from gloves box during driving! Its very dangerous!!
After calling navigator application i can not switch off screen on the iphone! If i do it, the screen of head unit switches off as well. But it illogical behaviour because i do not need screen on iphone, i look into head unit!
The warning messages which appears on head unit before using application from iphone requires additional attention during driving! Please switch them off-they achieved absoletly the opposite goal-i spend time on them and my driving behaviour is getting more dangerous!
